Hello! I'm Dana Fretty (they/them), an animator, video artist and writer living and working between Chicago, Los Angeles and, sometimes, remote deserts across the western United States.

I have experience working on animation and videos for music, journalism, comedy, and entertainment, and most recently worked as a staff animator/production assistant for National Public Radio.

I'm working towards a Scuba Diving instruction certification, have extensive and varied outdoor experience, and have interdisciplinary conservation, biology and art ambitions related to the ocean. If you're seeking active hands in proximity to the water in any way, I am interested. 

Artistically I prefer using Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro, and have moderate experience with most common animation, drawing and video software.
